Jonathan Buell was born about 1763 in Marlborough, Hartford County, Connecticut. His parents were Timothy Buell and Mercy Peters.

Jonathan married Hannah Smith.

Alexander A. Buell (1813, married Mary Adeline Jones).

Rinaldo was in the 1st Regiment Leeds Militia during the War of 1812. He deserted.

He died on January 31, 1837 in Brockville.

 
 

Brockville, Ontario was called Elizabethtown. The area was first settled by English speakers in 1785, when Americans who had remained loyal to the crown fled to Canada after the American Revolution.
